Zafra Fish Farm located in Bocana, Ilog has brough the Balinese-feel for the mean time when traveling is not an option for those who are travel junkies. People in Negros is still fortunate enough with lesser number of Covid-19 cases, we have options to roam around the 4th largest island here in the philippines.

We were supposed to go to Sipalay but we need to have reservations prior to entering their city so we have to detour and Bocana in Ilog did not disappoint. I must say that this is the Oyster 'Talaba' Capital of Negros. Restaurants owner here grow their own oysters and serve them fresh every day.

There's a minimal Entrance Fee of P30 per person and for me, it's worth it as the place can teleport you as if you're no longer in Negros. Every corner is Instagram-worthy and you'll just wish there's a hammock to buzz off after a long ride. 

When we were there last February, they don't serve lunch yet but you can bring food and drinks and rent one of their floating cottages. They just opened and might be serving lunch by now.

Don't you worry bout a thing though, there are a lot of Talabahan that serves fresh oysters and seafood in the area. I ordered 2 serving for 2 persons and the restaurant owner gave us a third serving for free since it wasn't busy when we dined at their place. If I am not mistaken, the name is Jonah's Talabahan. On weekends, they can accommodate up to 500 pax in their Talabahan.
