San aabot ang P500 mo?!

By it's name, you can already tell that it's a resort that's thousands of feet above sea level. Ilaya Highland Resort just started to operate last August and of course, we don't want to be the last to discover and experience what this place can offer.

First and for most, I love the view and where the infinity pool is situated. No outside food is allowed and I guess they need to level up their food, otherwise, lower down the price.

How to get here:

Remeber Duyan? You can start from there. Click link ---> DUYAN CAFE

So from Duyan, just continue driving until you reach an intersection. Turn left by this time and after 5 minutes, you'll reach the resort. If you're doubting the direction I am giving you, it doesn't hurt to ask the locals.

Cost:

Entrance: P200
Pool Access: P100
Canopy: P500 (Optional. You're not staying overnight so a handbag of your essentials will suffice. Take it with you when you use the pool or when you eat at the restaurant. You just saved P500 and you're welcome! /var/folders/rj/bkzwc34n7f36_055496b8tsm0000gn/T/com.microsoft.Word/WebArchiveCopyPasteTempFiles/1f61b.png
)

They don't have overnight facilities as of yet and would advise to leave before dawn. Choose the road passing by Duyan Cafe just to be on the safe side. One of the servers told us that passing by Patag, you might encounter NPAs that will ask you for some money or might put your safety at risk.

Most locals and residents of Bacolod find the place pricey but being used to resorts in Manila and Luzon, I know am getting more than what I paid for. I can't blame them though as there are a lot of places as beautiful as this resort but will cost you less.

P.S. I'm not trying to scare you but better to be safe than sorry.
